They’re large, sturdy, and super lightweight, which makes them easy to carry but strong enough for daily meals. I piled one high with spaghetti and meatballs, and it handled it like a champ. The red sauce sat in the bowl for hours (my dad forgot to mention he was done eating), and I was sure it would stain. But it washed right out with a little Dawn soap.Since then, I’ve hand washed them and even tossed them in the dishwasher after a Girl Scout sleepover. We used them for fondue, melted cheese, popcorn—you name it. They still came out looking brand new.What I also love is that these are made from eco-friendly wheat straw. They’re BPA-free, non-toxic, and odorless, which really matters to me since I have a family member with an autoimmune condition. I try to be mindful about what we use in the kitchen, and these bowls check every box.
