I’ve got to brag on this a little, not even the tiniest scratch in the chrome, all the holes lined up. Great, I did have to bend the horn bracket a little bit and put it in front of the highway bar, but that was no problem whatsoever. Very high quality, I recently installed a cobra on a V star classic LT. It did not want to lineup quite right, and the lower boards bumped it. This one is bent to where the floorboards is nowhere near it. And I installed it in less than 10 minutes by myself. Not sure about the chromes quality, long-term, but it really looks good now. And I kid you not, it fit better than one that cost over three times as much on my 1100 vstar, and in my opinion, looks just as good. If I had to find something to complain about, I would say that the welds aren’t the prettiest. But that’s about it. I’ve installed a dozen of these over the years and this was the easiest install of all of them. Better get you one now before the tariffs hit. Well, worth the money in my humble opinion…… not sure how well they would hold up in an accident, but let’s just hope I don’t have to find out. They are clamped pretty solidly on those frame tubes, and bolted strong on the bottom. And they are one piece which always lends to being stronger for its purpose.I am a very happy guy at the moment!
