I had a good three weeks with this earphones. I liked them, until one night the left earbud produced a high pitched screeching sound. It was hurtful, but I just reseted the earbuds and went on with my day. So far this has happened at least 8 times. The last three times I just let them play without wearing them, because my eardrum HURTS. I started a claim to get my money back.Do not waste your time, money or risk your health with this.**UPDATE: 4th of April 2024Disclaimer: Earfun customer service contacted me on their own initiative to communicate that they had a new batch of this product, and if I was interested on testing them for free to compensate for the bad experience had before. I accepted. This update is related to this batch. Please note that no visible differences were perceived on the packaging or numbers present on the boxes and on the product when comparing both batches. While the new pair lasted, the sound was good and all in all what I was expecting to get from the device when I first purchased it. It wasn’t easy to trust them again, because the intense sound failure of last time. The buds connective issues persist, offering a cracking sound here and there, which intensifies as soon as the bluetooth device/phone/computer is not next to you. The buds struggled specially when going on transparency mode.If you end up buying these, try getting the app to set up the controllers. As they are touch they are super sensitive, and just handling them around will change settings and you’ll find yourself with volume changes and NC settings.Sadly, after around a month of testing, today I woke up to hear no sound at all coming from the earphones. The voice that tells you the charge left and the connection status is there, but I couldn’t get any sound from different devices and even after resetting to factory settings as per Earfun suggestion. The only good experience dealing with this earphones came from the customer service, who were helpful and always prompt to satisfy my customer experience. Just for this reason I would give them another try in the future, with a different model that’s not the „Air“ ones. I’ve had interaction with other „famous“ manufacturers of earphones, and none of them compares.Thing is, you are not buying a customer service. You are buying earphones. And after two defective devices in a row I can’t really recommend these any more than before. If you are gonna put an electric device inside your ear canal, you will want to stay with brands that inspire you a level of trust. What does that mean to you, and how much of a flexibility you can have there, is up to you. Sound quality is great in the price range, but connectivity and – so it seems – software bring the experience down to a flat star.I’m bringing both devices to the recycling station.// Updated:The company came to the attention of this comment shortly after I made it. They stood behind their product and took care of my issues. After almost a year of testing a new pair from the same company, I can only recommend them.At the same time I bought a similar pair of earphones from a big brand name and they also failed, but couldn’t care less about me.I’ll be buying more Earfun in the future.
