This product delivers what is expected for the money. The screen quality and brightness is better than a cell phone for navigation. But it’s not TFT brightness or clarity. But it’s good enough.The installation was not too difficult. But the installation diagram showing where the ACC wire goes was confusing. They could have annotated that with more description.Basically the black ground goes to the negative ground terminal on the battery and the orange hot lead goes to the red positive terminal on the battery.The red ACC wire goes to any hot lead off of the ignition circuit. Initially I put this to the accessory fuse because it was convenient.But everything on the fuse box is hot and you don’t get the same function as coming off the ACC hot lead from the ignition circuit.My CFMOTO 450nk comes with a USB accessory harness that plugs into the USB accessory receptacle. I simply ran an extension to the red bare end ACC lead from my Carplay unit to the hot red positive lead on the accessory plug.This way, when I turn the keyed ignition switch on, the Carplay turns on. When I turn the ignition off, the Carplay turns off.This prevents an accidental dead battery if you simply plug the AAC red wire to the hot side of the ignition and forget to turn it off manually using the handlebar switch provided.I never forgot to turn it off under this setup. But I could never shake the thought of someone fiddling with the Carplay remote on the handlebar.If they inadvertantly pressed the top button, then the Carplay would turn on, even when the ignition was off. If they didn’t known to hold the top button down for ten seconds, the Carplay would remain on until the battery died.That was not an acceptable situation. So I made the necessary changes that reflect the correct installation. Now it is fully functional. And it integrates perfectly with my cell phone and CARDO Packtalk system.During my install I had to contact Carplay customer support to help get the answers I needed, because the manual was not detailed enough. They were very kind and helpful. I give them five out of five stars for their help and confirmations.G
